Oakland University Hockey

Rochester, MI It won't be an easy task for the OU Hockey team to reclaim a National Title next season. Oakland will face off against numerous ACHA powerhouses. The Grizzlies will travel on the road to take on two of the top six nationally ranked teams back to back, when they travel to #1 ranked University of Illinois and #6 Liberty University in early October. OU will also be on the road against Ohio University and Penn State University.

A few familiar faces will take on the Grizzlies when Davenport University, UofM Dearborn, Eastern Michigan and Grand Valley State come to town.

There are several new opponents on the Oakland Hockey schedule as Minot State, IUP, Slippery Rock and Central Oklahoma all come to the ONYX in the 2008-2009 campaign.
