Oakland University Hockey

Rochester, MI Oakland University took on the Bulldogs from Adrian College in a Saturday-Sunday weekend series and came away with two wins. Saturday night the Grizzlies hosted Adrian at the ONYX and won 5-2. OU recieved goals from Kevin Kranker, Todd Orlando, Cody Austin, John Parrish and Tristan Schwarz. Schwarz's goal was his first of the season and his first as a Grizzlie.

Andrew Stewart earned the start in net and turned aside 19 Adrian shots.

Sunday Oakland traveled to Adrian for a rare Sunday afternoon mach up and jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Adrian would score two late third period goals to make the final 4-2. Brent Cooper lead the OU offense with three goals and Kevin Kranker netted the other tally for the Grizzlies.

Collin Chase started between the pipes and stopped 18 Adrian opportunities.
