Rochester, MI- #2 Oakland University Hockey has announced the dates and times of its summer prospect camps. The camp is open to any student athlete entering their senior of high school and older. The camp is a good place to meet the OU Hockey coaching staff, ask questions and become more familiar with Oakland University Men's ACHA Hockey.
Online registration is available and the cost is $150 per camper.
The camps will be at the Troy Sports Center which is located at 1819 E. Big Beaver Road
Troy, MI 48083.

Rochester, MI- Oakland University Hockey defenseman Dustin Hopfner has been named by Michigan Hockey as "Michi-gamer of the night – one Michigan player who stood out above the rest."

National recognition continues to come for the Oakland Grizzlies, who reached the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s D-I national championship game just two months ago. One player routinely picking up honors is Eastpointe native Dustin Hopfner.
The Grizzlies defenseman was named to the ACHA D-I National Tournament First Team, the 2012 ACHA Men’s Division D-I All-Rookie Team, was named a 2012 ACHA D-I All-Star. Now, Hopfner can also add All-American to his hockey resume, as it was announced yesterday that the rookie defenseman received First-Team recognition from the league. Not a bad way for Hopfner to celebrate his rookie season.
Rochester, MI- Another honor for the second ranked Grizzlies as the ACHA has announced defenseman Dustin Hopfner has been named a First Team All-American.
Hopfner has received numerous honors in his rookie season along with the First Team All-American, Hopfner was named to the 2012 ACHA DI National Tournament First Team, the 2012 ACHA Men's Division DI All-Rookie Team and was named a 2012 ACHA DI All-Star.
Hopfner has previously stated the important part his teammates has played in his success saying; "I had a great group of guys around me that helped along the way."
In his rookie season he also was named an alternate captain for the Grizzlies. He also averaged around a point a game and led the Grizzlies defense in points with 44.
